Question and Answer
What is the difference between our food waste converter and other similar units on the market?
Our food waste converter does not require the addition of any additional products such as wood chips, chemicals or coal to the waste. It also consumes no fresh water and does not discharge any “dirty water” to the sewer. As mentioned above, the only discharge from the unit is the “sterilized biomass” and a few gallons of condensate water flowing from the condenser unit.

What size and weight can I expect from a food waste converter?
You can expect a 90% volume reduction. Weight reduction will be determined based on the type of waste. Typical volume reduction will be in the 70 to 90% range.
Our workers may not be able to sort the waste if they are busy with their schedule. Is this harmful?
Items like spoons will not damage the machine if they are not in large quantities. But make sure to remove them after the cycle. It is always advisable to avoid putting such items in the machine.
How should I use my final product?
You can spread it on the floors of your building, in your home, in a composting facility, or send it to a landfill. Because the final product is 95% dry, another option is to mix it with natural soil so it can compost in a few days.
What if I use the outputs in my garden, will the seeds in the inputs grow from them?
Not at all. During the cycle, the waste is heated and sterilized for 12 hours, killing all bacteria and seeds present in the inputs.
What needs to be added to the system for processing?
Nothing needs to be added to the system to treat food waste. If you are depositing a large amount of oily waste, it is advisable to add a portion of green leaves, pieces of cardboard or paper towels to absorb the oil content.
